Hunger games dystopian world connections

 There are some connections that i have of the dystopian world in the hunger games to the giver. Firstly both the world have had a bad history or past involving war leading to the current time (like the revolution in panam). Both books also have good protagonists such as katniss and jonah who feel obliged to save this community from the state its currently at. These are some dystopian features found in the giver and the hunger games
