There are many comparisons between the  lottery and the hunger games. The most outstanding comparison between these two stories is that both of the two stories do sacrafices because of tradition. In the hunger games, they sacrafice a teen from each distrit to fight in the hunger games to portect their district from the capitol attaccking them.
