1) In my opinion, the big theme throughout this novel was that despite if you are rich or poor evryone has tough times and problems to deal with. An example of this is ponyboy and cherry. Pony boy is poor and always complaining that he has it worse than anybody else but he finds out while watching a movie with cherry( a very wealthy person) not just poor gresers like himself have problems

2) Before the beggining of the novel, I thought the big idea was going to be about the different social classes due to the name "the Outsiders."

3) In the novel the outsiders, i dont really think the setting has changed but i think that the people have changed. For instanse people like ponyboy who are greasers find out that even socs ( wealthy people have problems too)

I think pony boy would have joined in the vacouver riot. Pony boy is consistantly argueing about how hard his life is and i think this event would be a letting go type of thing for him. Also in the riots there was alot of robbery. Being ponyoy and coming from a poor family and community i think he would join in on some of the robberys and steal some valuables.

This building on the right reminds me of the outsiders because it is a very poor, and out of shaped building just like in the setting for the out siders. This what a building would look like for the greasers in the outsiders in my opinion.
